Fiscal Essentials for Public Assistance Programs
This two-day training is designed to enhance the fiscal skills of public human services executives.
Topics include:
- Overview of funding for public assistance programs
- Allocation cycle
- Realignment
- Current budget issues
- Management reporting and tracking
- County expenditure claims
- Building management reports from data sources
- Managing fiscal performance
- Budgeting policies: forecasting and planning
As a result of this training, participants will have an in-depth knowledge of fiscal processes and increased capacity to use fiscal tools and staff to advance agency goals.

Fee Details: The program enrollment fee is 0.12 training unit per person for those utilizing their county contract. If not using a county contract, the fee is $510.00 per person. The fee for this 2-day program includes soft copy materials.
Training Format: This program will be offered via remote learning using Zoom. Login information will be provided after your enrollment is processed.

Substitutions can be done with a 48-hour notice prior to the training start date. A 48-hour notice is needed to get all updated information processed.
