Building a CQI Culture: Empowering Everyone Through Continuous Improvement. Child welfare and probation county teams, including county agency leadership, social workers, probation officers, case reviewers, CQI staff, analysts and those working to support their county's CQI system are strongly encouraged to join us for 2 1/2 days of learning, sharing and collaborative growth.

The California Title IV-E Summit is a child welfare conference that brings social work practitioners, educators, and Title IV-E students together around a pertinent child welfare theme. This year's theme is, Healing Together: The Road to Building Collaboration, Sustainability and Well-being in Child Welfare. The event will be streamed live from Long Beach, CA. If you are interested in being a workshop presenter or panelist on April 18, 2025, we are now accepting proposals!

California counties implementing Safety Organized Practice (SOP) are invited to the beautiful UC Davis campus to deepen their practice and share their experiences in the interest of collaborative learning and continuous quality improvement. This event will offer workshops for direct practitioners in child welfare (with a focus on work with children and families), as well as for leaders (with a focus on implementation, sustainability and organizational climate). There will also be plenty of workshops that will appeal to both leaders and direct practitioners.

Now in its 20th year, the National Tribal TANF Institute brings together Tribal TANF staff from across the country for a unique educational experience. Our 2025 theme, Twenty Years of Tradition: Celebrating Today and Tomorrow Together, will emphasize the importance of honoring tribal values, cultures and traditions while also embracing new ideas, practices and innovations to make our native communities stronger for future generations. We’ll also explore programs, opportunities and resources for tribal youth and young adults to help them transition into thriving adulthood.
