Ethics in the Workplace

This workshop focuses on the principles, philosophy, and ethics of social and human services work. County workers examine the values and ethics in the field of Human Services. Through group discussions, interactive role-player and group case studies and activities, county workers will review ethical concepts, principles, models, and reflect on how their personal ethics and moral compass may influence their daily actions.

At the end of this course, participants will:

  • will understand how ethics apply to their work
  • can respond more thoughtfully and responsibly to ethical dilemmas
  • have a heightened awareness of the consequences of behavior.
