Customer Service

This workshop provides information on a variety of models for effective customer service. It also provides an opportunity to practice steps good customer service skills. Human Services Professionals work with a variety of families from different backgrounds and with different expectations. These families have unique needs and the professionals need more than the knowledge of their job to meet the many needs of their customers. This workshop reviews those additional skills to provide a good customer experience.

Topics include:

  • Familiarizing with the Customer Service Principles
  • Building awareness of Shulman’s Interactional Skills of Tuning-in to self and Tuning-in to others.
  • Identifying how their own feelings, thoughts, and perceptions influences the customer service provided.
  • Practicing and enhancing customer service skills.
