The Wraparound Connections Newsletter is Back!
We have missed working on the Wraparound Connections newsletter and providing you with stories of inspiration, valuable tips and tricks, and updates about high-fidelity Wraparound. We have been on a hiatus due to rapid growth at the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice, and we have filled our days working on new projects and onboarding new staff members. We are pleased to introduce all of our new staff members in this newsletter!
The Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice hasn’t been the only organization experiencing growth and change, as the children’s system of care has been urged to make radical transformations to better support and protect vulnerable children and families. Policy reforms, innovative programs, and revised practices have been set in motion, all with the noble aim of providing improved care and outcomes for those who need it most.
One crucial change is the implementation of High-Fidelity Wraparound. As we progress in our understanding of what works best for children and families in crisis, it is essential to remember the adage: "Once we know better, we must do better." Embracing High-Fidelity Wraparound is a testament to our collective commitment to continuous improvement and a recognition that even the best intentions can benefit from refinement. We are proud to support High-Fidelity Wraparound in California, and, in partnership with CDSS we are proud to offer technical assistance and coaching for implementation of High-Fidelity Wraparound programs. We’ve also developed a High-Fidelity Wraparound Toolkit available on our website.
Our ability to adapt, evolve, and embrace new approaches is what ensures the well-being and success of the children and families we serve. And while we do that, it is essential to celebrate the remarkable achievements and positive impacts that have already been made in the field of child welfare. Countless lives have been transformed, families restored, and futures reshaped due to the dedication and expertise of thoughtful, compassionate and engaged individuals working across the system. Here at the RCFFP we acknowledge and honor these contributions as we navigate the path toward implementing changes that enhance our collective efforts.
