Bon Voyage, Jenit!

Jenit Chadha as a student

As we bid farewell to one of our most cherished team members, Jenit Chadha, we are filled with both pride and a touch of sadness.

Jenit’s journey began with her move from India to the United States, where she attended UC Davis to pursue a degree in Psychology with a minor in Education and Public Health. She joined the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice (RCFFP) team as a student staff member in 2022. From day one, she has been an invaluable team member, sharing with us her unique blend of skill, enthusiasm and genuine warmth. It was immediately clear that she was not only motivated and dedicated to her studies, but also passionate about helping others, which she hopes to channel into a future career as a therapist or in social services and/or academia.

Throughout her time at RCFFP, Jenit has been a key player in supporting the team through various phases of curriculum growth and development. Meticulous, inquisitive, talented, and always bringing a fresh perspective to the table, Jenit’s jovial and enthusiastic nature has infused our workspace with energy, making every interaction enjoyable and productive.

Jenit Chadha's graduation

Jenit’s future is undoubtedly bright. After graduating this fall, she plans to continue her education in graduate school. Her commitment to her academic and professional goals is truly inspiring, and her dedication and passion for helping others will undoubtedly lead her to great success.

Beyond her professional contributions, Jenit’s personal stories and experiences have fostered a warm and inclusive environment at

RCFFP. Her tales of family and pets, especially her five cats humorously named after the Kardashian family, have been a source of delight for us all. She has also shared with our team her natural artistic ability, particularly in creating professional decorative cakes that never fail to impress. These moments of sharing have brought our entire team closer together, creating a sense of camaraderie and community.

As we reflect on Jenit’s time with us, we are profoundly grateful for the tremendous support she has provided, and for being such a wonderful part of our team. Her motivation, creativity and warm personality have left a lasting impact on all of us here at RCFFP. Thank you, Jenit, for your hard work, your laughter, and the countless ways you have enriched our lives. We will miss you dearly, but we are excited to see you embark on this next chapter of your journey! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
