This web-based course will follow the science of developmental traumatology to the active skills for trauma recovery. Recent developments in California, such as ACEsAware.org and early childhood education initiatives, will be highlighted. On the basis of the scientific insights into the impact of trauma on child development, active skills will be taught, including self-regulation, observational tracking and measuring safety improvements.
